Museum Field Trip
Contemporary Iranian Photography & Video at the Craft and Folk Art Museum

Join us for a guided tour of the Craft & Folk Art Museum exhibit Focus Iran 2, which includes 33 landscape, portrait and documentary photographs and nine video works relating to Iranian culture. This exhibition provides a rare collection of perspectives from citizen journalists, personal archivists, and vernacular storytellers who are connected to Iran either by heritage or deeply felt admiration. Together they present a kaleidoscopic prism of Iranian culture and identity.

Meet in the Ebell Parking lot (Lucerne side) at 10:45 am for carpools to the Craft and Folk Art Museum or meet at the Museum, 5814 Wilshire Blvd. (across from LACMA) at 11:00 am.The tour lasts about one hour. Maybe we’ll even drive to a Persian or Middle Eastern restaurant for lunch! (Optional shared cost.)
